If you are using an iPhone, there is a built-in app that is called “voice memos”. There is an option to not only record your voice, but it also allows you to name each recording. It has an option for creating a file folder. This is perfect for you to organize your voice recordings.
Android Phone users option is much more than iphone. As android system allows more choices for voice recordings app, it has own built in voice recorder as well. Go to search on top of the screen and key in recorder and this app is user friendly.
Laptop / Desktop
MacBook both laptop and desktop has built in like the Iphone, voice memo. Other than voice memo, it has other options available for free:

Some of these app needs to be download through your app store.
Windows has its own built-in app voice recorder called Voice Recorder. If your windows doesn’t have this option then you will have to download it manually.
Online / Web Browser
It’s a great time to learn anything, so much tools available online for voice recording. I am always searching for different option this way I always have back up if my personal phone or laptop is not with me.

I have used my phone severally as a voice recorder to learn and improve my voice when I sing. I never thought of the online recording with online-voice-recorder dot com. I’ve often come across the voice memo on my iPhone, but never used any of its facilities. It’s interesting that not only can you use it for leaving voice notes but you can also use it to help you sing.
